- Vector calculus - From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Vector calculus (also called vector analysis) is a field of mathematics concerned with multivariate real analysis of vectors in two or more dimensions. It consists of a suite of formulas and problem solving techniques very useful for engineering and physics. Vector analysis has its origin in quaternion analysis, and was formulated by the American scientist, J. Willard Gibbs [1]. It concerns vector fields, which associate a vector to every point in space, and scalar fields, which associate a scalar to every point in space. For example, the temperature of a swimming pool is a scalar field: to each point we associate a scalar value of temperature. The water flow in the same pool is a vector field: to each point we associate a velocity vector.

- WorldChanging: Another World Is Here
WorldChanging.com works from a simple premise: that the tools, models and ideas for building a better future lie all around us. That plenty of people are working on tools for change, but the fields in which they work remain unconnected. That the motive, means and opportunity for profound positive change are already present. That another world is not just possible, it's here. We only need to put the pieces together. Informed by that premise, we do our best to bring you links to (and analysis of) those tools, models and ideas in a timely and concise manner.

- A Picture's Worth - David Chin
"A Picture's Worth" was launched on 1 August 2003 as a personal project to highlight the emotions and memories triggered by a photograph of personal significance. By inspiring people to bring out the meaning or story behind a personal photograph, "A Picture's Worth" provides a haven for people to truly "show and tell". In line with the idea that "a picture is worth a thousand words", you are invited to "show and tell" by submitting a personal photograph with a story to explain the photograph's significance to you. At least one new photoessay will be posted every day.

- Design is Kinky
Design is Kinky was created by Andrew in mid 1998 in a small flat in Sydney, Australia. His main reason for starting it was simply to get involved in the design community that he saw beginning to grow online. Influenced by sites such as Digitalthread, Zeldman.com, Shift and the K10k crew, as a designer Andrew was excited at the potential that the community showed and decided to jump on board and become a part of it. So over a few sleepless nights Design is Kinky was born. At the time no one was really interviewing designers, Andrew found the few interviews he had read really interesting, so he felt that this would be a good theme to base the site on. The first Profile was on Niko Stumpo, an Italian designer who Andrew greatly admired (and still does). Niko'

- Wiki - From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
A wiki (IPA: [ˈwɪ.kiː] <WICK-ee> or [ˈwiː.kiː] <WEE-kee>[1]) is a type of website that allows users to easily add, remove, or otherwise edit and change some available content, sometimes without the need for registration. This ease of interaction and operation makes a wiki an effective tool for collaborative authoring. The term wiki can also refer to the collaborative software itself (wiki engine) that facilitates the operation of such a website (see wiki software), or to certain specific wiki sites, including the computer science site (and original wiki), WikiWikiWeb, and the online encyclopedias such as Wikipedia. The first wiki, WikiWikiWeb, is named after the "Wiki Wiki" line of Chance RT-52 buses in Honolulu International Airport, Hawaii.
