- Log into flickr with your Yahoo! ID
As of now, anyone can log in to Flickr using their Yahoo! ID. New users will have to use their Yahoo! ID (or create a new one if they don't have one); older users can continue to use their existing Flickr.com account details to log in, or choose to merge their Flickr.com accounts and Yahoo! IDs together*. One note: Existing users will be able to keep their existing screen names on Flickr whether they choose to merge accounts now or not - you don't have to change your name.

Two minor updates: * One of the most requested features for My Web 2.0 was the ability to import your bookmarks from del.icio.us. Now you can! Just go to the instruction page to find out how. * You will also notice that "Everyone's Web" now shows the latest links from all My Web users, in addition to showing links from your own contacts. This will make My Web more useful to people before they've made contacts in the system.

I did kind of imply that I would make improvements this Greasemonkey script that adds a "copy this link to Yahoo My Web" functionality to del.icio.us. Specifically, that the script should copy tags and descriptions as well, not just the link and the title. Unfortunately, I had to rewrite the whole thing to get it to work like I wanted it to.

Yahoo! has dropped the price of their domain registration service to $1.99, the second price drop in a few months after Yahoo!'s original offer of $9.95 was slashed to $4.95. <br><br> Well maybe I could buy a real domain name now then...<br> Instead of this free svartling.hopto.org domain. But this domain is indexed well and quite popular, so maybe that is a bad idea?
