Since this strange phenomenon seems to be some undiscovered law of Science, I thought I would share what I have. John Giannini's collection of Biology movies and animations.  Th is is a great  collection that should be shared with every Science teacher. Another wonderful resource that containing flash-based animations that include both step-though and narrated options for many of the resources.

  Project based learning using all or any of the three online resources offers a dynamic approach to teaching in which students explore real-world problems and challenges. Project Based Learning (PBL) provides opportunities for students to collaborate as they solve challenging problems. This problem solving strategy is guided by open-ended questions which drive student lead investigative processes.
