Lewis Carroll Biography - Charles Lutwidge Dodgson (January 27, 1832- January 14, 1898), better known by the pen name Lewis Carroll, was a British author, mathematician, logician, Anglican clergyman and photographer.
His most famous writings are Alice's Adventures in Wonderland and its sequel Through the Looking-Glass, as well as the comic poem The Hunting of the Snark, and the nonsense poem Jabberwocky.

of Congress is an original scrapbook that was kept by Charles Lutwidge Dodgson, also known as, Lewis Carroll.
The author of Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland (1865) and Through the Looking-Glass (1871).
The scrapbook contains approximately 130 items, including newspaper clippings, photographs, and a limited
number of manuscript materials, collected between 1855-72.
