After meeting with the owners of J's Sports Cafe on Monday, April 23, area political leaders and residents voted to recommend that the county's liquor board revoke the club's liquor license when it expires at the end of May. About 60 residents and politicians attended the meeting at Touch of Love Bible Church on Baltimore Avenue to hear the owner's plans to operate a family friendly restaurant at the Crystal Plaza location, and their solutions to the security concerns residents had raised.
