• History UAW Region 1C
  The Sit Down Strike Monument This monument is the result of a promise made to the remaining Region1C Sit Down Strikers by Director Bob Roth. It sits on land next to the Flint Region 1C office and replaces a previous monument installed in 1987 in downtown Flint. The completed monument will be the centerpiece of an area dedicated to the memory of our union pioneers.
