The International Federation of Rock Art Organizations (IFRAO) is a federation of national and regional Organizations promoting the study of palaeoart and cognitive archaeology globally. It was established in September 1988 in Darwin, Australia, by nine founding members (see history of IFRAO). Currently IFRAO has 43 regional members covering most of the globe.
