• Fall IDF 2007 - Intel DX38BT 'BoneTrail' Motherboard Preview
  Last year I was able to post up the first pictures of the Intel D975XBX2 'Bad Axe 2' motherboard in action and this year I was able to do the same with the Intel DX38BT 'BoneTrail' motherboard. I attended yet another overclocking/performance workshop here at IDF and were able to get an up close and personal look at the Intel DX38BT motherboard, but while I got pictures of the board and BIOS settings no live overclocking took place this time around.

• HTC Touch Dual
  The original HTC Touch was a pretty impressive device - but it was somewhat flawed because it had no 3G support. So, HTC have now come up with an different version - the HTC Touch Dual. This is now a 3.5G device with HSDPA high-speed data, UMTS (i.e. 3G), EDGE and GPRS connectivity - this is certainly something the old model needed.

• Nikon's latest Wi-Fi slimcam
  Nikon has been dabbling in Wi-Fi-equipped cameras for a few years now. Most recently, the company included Wi-Fi in its ultracompact 7-megapixel Coolpix S50c. The new Coolpix S51c continues this trend and includes an 8MP CCD sensor, a 3-inch, 230,000-pixel LCD, sensitivity of up to ISO 1,600, and optical image stabilization. This new model also includes Nikon's D-Lighting to compensate for imperfect exposures after the fact, as well as Face Priority AF to help make sure that the camera focuses on your friends' faces, instead of a tree or some national monument in the background. It also includes Nikon's usual compliment of in-camera editing features so you can fix problems, such as red-eye, after you snap a picture.
