Melbourne is set to ride the huge international wave of popularity currently being enjoyed by that most ancient, and creative of arts -- PUPPETRY, with the inaugural International Puppet Carnival at Federation Square from 26 June to 2 July (week two of the Victorian School Holidays). This brand new week-long festival will see the most talented puppet masters from around Australia and New Zealand in an action packed program of contemporary, traditional and cutting edge performances, events and workshops.
