She currently lives in Melbourne, Australia. She is the granddaughter of Frank Hardy, author of Power Without Glory. In 2003, she won an Australian Writers' Guild Award for her 26-part children's television show Short Cuts. In 2005, she wrote and produced a 22-part television drama called Last Man Standing for the Seven Network in Australia and TVNZ in New Zealand.
