  Welcome to my design portfolio on the web! My name is Matthew Almand and I live in Northern Italy. I have 4+ years experience is many areas of design including Web, Print, Multimedia, amd also User Interface design. I began as an Illustrator and still dabble in it although I have done no professional work in that area. Because I am an Illustrator I tend to create rather than use others Clip art or photographs where possible, thus assuring custom work for the needs of the client. UI Design I have found to be the most challenging but also the most flexible is regard to the freedoms of concept and usability.
