• NBC Cancels Controversial 'Playboy Club'
  NBC has decided to air Rock Center, a new newsmagazine hosted by NBC Nightly News managing editor Brian Williams, during the 10 p.m. time slot. Rock Center will begin broadcast on October 31, 2011 from NBC’s studio 3B in Rockefeller Center and feature several famous journalists covering newsworthy events from throughout the week. In the meantime, repeats of Prime Suspect, a legal drama that currently airs during the Thursday night primetime lineup, will fill the 10 p.m. slot. The Playboy Club marks the first cancellation of the fall season.
