Even if you don't use my ideas, maybe they will spark ideas you can use in your classroom. Use your imagination...what did you like when you were a child?   We will begin the Civics and Citizenship Public Policy Project after Thanksgiving. This project is a requirement to pass Civics and therefore, graduate. A minimum of 80% is needed for a passing score. All parts must be completed or it will be considered incomplete. An adidtional electronic copy must also be submitted with the project that will not be returned. Students will have 3 weeks of in class time to complete the project, however, work time outside of class may be necessary. The project is due January 4-5, 2010, depending on which day you have class. Any student who chooses not to fulfill the requirement, will be re-enrolled in Civics class. The various tasks for the assignment are included at the bottom of this page.
