  • The trust for Civil Society in Central and Eastern Europe (CEE Trust)
    The CEE Trust promotes the development of civil societies in Bulgaria, the Czech Republic, Hungary, Poland, Romania, Slovakia and Slovenia. The CEE Trust was conceived as a mechanism for facilitating the transition to independent, active and viable networks of organizations and citizens working for the public good. To achieve this goal, the CEE Trust meets the urgent need for funding to help non-governmental organizations (NGOs) and other civil society stakeholders gain greater self-reliance and self-sufficiency.

Under the direction of international economist Professor Jeffrey D.
