The UConn Plant Database contains photographic and textual information on 450 trees, shrubs and vines that are useful for landscaping. The site includes a Plant Selector feature that enables the user to choose plants for their landscape situation based on criteria they supply. There are also Virtual Campus Plant Walks that allow students and the public to take virtual walks of several New England University campuses and view the plants they contain. An online searchable plant terminology glossary and a dichotomous tree key are also provided.
