Interesting thesis on this guy trying to make a nas type mp3 player cheaply. Seems to have worked. Except it still requires server side software. Basically wants an Audiotron/Motorola SimpleFi but cheap.

When death is your business, what is your life? For the Fisher family, the world outside of their family-owned funeral home continues to be at least as challenging as--and far less predictable than--the one inside. From Oscar(R)-winning screenwriter Alan Ball comes this breakout series that takes a darkly comic look at members of a dysfunctional L.A. family that runs a funeral business. With Peter Krause, Frances Conroy, Michael C. Hall, Lauren Ambrose and Rachel Griffiths.

A political blog most unlike the usual offerings. It is not a soapbox for a central commentator, but home to a bevy of A-list contributors weighing in on the political situation in the US. Co-founded by syndicated columnist and one-time candidate for governor of California Arianna Huffington, the blog is a heavy dose of news and opinion - the commentaries coming from top names in journalism, politics and even Hollywood. Left-leaning, it does occasionally give up space for the right as well. It may be the antithesis of the blog that gives power to the powerless, but its rich content and star authors attract plenty of eyeballs.

A drama exploring the romantic past and emotional present of Ann Grant and her daughters, Constance and Nina. As Ann lays dying, she remembers, and is moved to convey to her daughters, the defining moments in her life 50 years prior, when she was a young woman. Harris is the man Ann loves in the 1950s and never forgets. A truly extraordinary cast breathes glorious life into Susan Minot and Pulitzer Prize winner Michael Cunningham’s adaptation of Minot’s beloved novel Evening. The film is a timeless, universal, and deeply emotional story about the secrets we share and the defining moments of connection between mothers and daughters, family and friends, and the loves of our lives.
