To satisfy these goals, however, an electronic journal has to go beyond simply reproducing the structure of standard journals in a new medium, the conception underlying at least some of the e-journals that have been introduced in recent years... An electronic journal can incorporate sound and video files as well as additional multi-media content into published work.
