<description>In the few blogs that I’ve written this year, I’ve talked about my travels and visits with IEEE Computer Society members in countries around the world. But one of the things I’ve not talked about is how great it is also to meet colleagues with similar interests to ours who are not members of the CS, but who in fact belong to their own local technical societies.</description>
