However, I'm moving from a calibrated Samsung 56" DLP and have been spoiled by proper skin tones and accurate color rendition. Out of the box, the Sharp displayed a very strong bias towards the magenta end of the spectrum, with bluish reds. I don't have any professional calibrating equipment, and aside from setting the contrast/brightness and attempting to adjust the color/tinting with a calibration disc, I haven't had success in achieving a satisfactory color profile.
