Users could buy&amp;nbsp;Swingler&#39;s pre-modded Motorola modems and change their MAC address, as well as alter their upload and download speed. So it was possible to pay for bottom tier Iinternet service and get top tier...or perhaps not pay for Internet at all. Although Swingler&#39;s FAQ reads:&amp;nbsp;&amp;quot;If you decide to use one of these modems to get free internet, then you&#39;re committing theft of service and we will take no responsibility</description>
