An Open Letter to Dan Hesse, Sprint Nextel Board of Directors, et al.

From my point of view, Sprint comes across as arrogant and doesn’t seem to care too much for its reputation or its customers. You lost over a million mobile users and continue to operate with a “so what” attitude. It is almost as if Sprint is trying to shed itself of mobile phone users and divest itself of consumer revenues. Is Sprint moving towards being only an infrastructure provider?

Anyone that has a website, blog or participates on social media sites has seen or been the recipient of comment and referrer spam. Most of the time it is a pure commercial post or random gibberish with strange URL addresses in a blog comment.

Sprint isn’t just losing millions of customers and billions of dollars, it’s in the midst of pioneering a new management philosophy. We’ll call it the Three-Megabit Monte. Similar to the venerable street con, this is where Sprint leads a customer down a confusing line of

We were quite unaware that Sprint was overcharging our company for quite a while. You see, we are very trusting people and wouldn't even consider that a company such as Sprint would do such an underhanded thing like take advantage of our small company and stick it to us as much as they did.

The MoveableType folks are using the announcement as a way to encourage WordPress users to move to MoveableType. Talk about dirty and underhanded. I personally hate, just hate it when companies do things like this. Six Apart should be ashamed for using such tactics.
