Devil Linux - Home Devil-Linux is a distribution which boots and runs completely from CDROM. The configuration can be saved to a floppy diskette or a USB pen drive. Devil Linux was originally intended to be a dedicated firewall/router but now Devil-Linux can also be used as a server for many applications. Attaching an optional hard drive is easy, and many network services are included in the distribution. The system is designed to install without the use of a hard drive. It requires the use of a CDROM and a write-protected floppy. The CDROM provides the operating system, and the floppy provides the configuration information, via a tarball that is unpacked into the /etc directory. In this way, the system is fully configurable, yet the running system has no writeable device. MPlayer - The Movie Player MPlayer is a movie player for Linux (runs on many other Unices, and non-x86 CPUs, see the documentation). It plays most MPEG, VOB, AVI, Ogg/OGM, VIVO, ASF/WMA/WMV, QT/MOV/MP4, FLI, RM, NuppelVideo, YUV4MPEG, FILM, RoQ, PVA files, supported by many native, XAnim, and Win32 DLL codecs. You can watch VideoCD, SVCD, DVD, 3ivx, DivX 3/4/5 and even WMV movies, too (without the avifile library). Another great feature of MPlayer is the wide range of supported output drivers. It works with X11, Xv, DGA, OpenGL, SVGAlib, fbdev, AAlib, DirectFB, but you can use GGI, SDL (and this way all their drivers), VESA (on every VESA compatible card, even without X11!) and some low level card-specific drivers (for Matrox, 3Dfx and ATI), too! p0f Statistics thingies p0f.udpsend: Runs p0f and send the output in UDP packets to a collector. p0f.udplog: Collects UDP packets and writes to separate logs for each sender. The log files are renamed at regular intervals and when the collector receives a SIGHUP. p0f.graph: Reads p0f log files created by the collector and saves a lot of counters in a small database. Uses those counters to create graphs. Also saves IP -> OS mappings a database for use by other apps through p0fIP2OS.pm. Can send a SIGHUP to the collector. p0fIP2OS.pm: A small perl module that can fetch the OS from one of the databases created by p0f.graph. I'm using this module in my event handlers for Graphdefang. in Public bookmarkswith p0f.udpsendrunsoutputpacketscollector
